About Me

Ashley is a graduate student at California Polytechnic State University who is working toward graduating with a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering. She received her Bachelors of Science degree also from Cal Poly in Biomedical Engineering, with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering. 

Making the Dean's List Fall 2014 - Spring 2018, Ashley has worked hard in school and gained skills working with SolidWorks, Abaqus, MATLAB, AutoCAD, COMSOL, Minitab, and Microsoft Office. She has led and participated in teams of various kinds, working to design, build, and execute engineering projects. Quality, cost, and efficiency were realized while working to meet deadlines for these projects.

Having accumulated over one-year of industry experience, Ashley has been able to directly apply her college education to the real world. This has helped her develop not only her professional toolbox, but also has helped her tailor her education toward her refined interests.

Ashley's experience, education, and personality have molded her ability to work well with others to cultivate creative ideas. These traits have also given her a competitive work ethic and the tenacity to not be easily discouraged. She is driven to continue enhancing her teamwork and engineering skills, and is passionate about one day changing the lives of those in need.
